Deleting single iMessage from convo

Hey,

In Mavericks and on iOS7 (unsure about 8) I have the ability to delete a single text/iMessage.

Is this option gone in Yosemite, or am I missing something? Right clicking brings up an option to clear the entire convo, which I don't want to do.

Any tips would be appreciated!

Right clicking an individual message seems to work.

I'm such a fool. It seems that every time I tried to right click I was highlighting a word, so it offered different options (which didn't include deleting a single message).
