Hello,

I'm using iPod Nano 5th gen for over a year. I removed songs and all from it using iTunes before but now I realize that the available space or the total audio files information aren't decreasing.

I saw using sync at some places but I don't want to delete these songs from my own library on Mac since I don't use the exact lists I use on iPod.

Can somebody please help me?

Thanks in advance.

Judging by that sentence, it sounds like you have been syncing music from other computer's iTunes music library other than your own computer. If that is the case, a reformat of your iPod may be necessary.

I'm not totally sure what happened to your iPod, so my recommendation is based on my interpretation of your dilemma.
