Hi all,

Parental Controls doesn't seem to work whatsoever for blocking websites.

Also, I used to be able to delete system apps using terminal and now I don't have permission to do that, or to change permissions, or make them invisible. All new to 10.11.

I'm trying to avoid the web on this machine and these safeguards help me focus. Aside from going back to Yosemite, any suggestions/workarounds for these problems are appreciated. Maybe some root user terminal access?

If you paid attention, you would've realized the new SIP (or rootless) stops you from deleting system apps.

I tend not to pay attention to OS changes until they interfere with my workflow, but thanks for giving the most dickish answer possible

You could do as I did and follow the instructions on this web page to temporarily disable SIP, then remove useless system apps to suit yourself.
When done removing then re-enable SIP if you feel the need to.

Great, that looks perfect, I'll give it a try. Thank you!
Just in case,
I use Terminal with this command...
"sudo rm -rf "
then I drag the app from Finder and drop it in the Terminal window to complete the line.
This even got rid of the new Photos app, as I prefer to stick with iPhoto for my simple needs.
