Hey guys.. sorry for all the questions (prolly pretty obvious ones). I got my MBP yesterday and I noticed that it had 98GB left out of the 120? I read in these forums that its mostly the trial stuff. so where do I go to delete these trials? what are they called? THANKS

aperture, iwork and microsoft office are all trial apps. if you've never launched them, simply dragging them to the trash should be enough. never having launched them means no preference files are saved and such.

I don't think it's so much the trial stuff ie. Microsoft Office, that's eating up so much hard drive space. You could do a clean install and specify to leave out certain languages or print drivers to free up some space or you could install an application called Monolingual to remove the drivers and languages you don't use without the re-installation of the OS. Another space consuming application is the GarageBand loops and iDVD templates. Of course if you plan on using these applications then you will need those sound loops and templates.
