Hilo, Hi.
Hello,
As the administrator , I have not been able to delete other users accounts. In System Prefs / accounts it has the option to delete but it doesnt do anything when I select it. Can someone tell a Mac / Unix newbie how to do this through the terminal?
Thanks,
Justin.

Open Applications->Utilities->Netinfo Manager

Click the users container in the middle column and you will see a list of users that have been created on your system in the right column.

Click the lock at the bottom of the window and enter your password to enable changes.

Select the user you want to delete from the right column and click delete.

Because of the way Apple uses the Netinfo database (LDAP based), I do not recommend making changes from the command line. It is not as easy as managing the standard UNIX pwd file.
