Delivery of Apple Products

I recently ordered a ton of stuff from Apple, including a mbp, and although my pro like many others' hasn't shipped yet, I have other stuff that is on its way. I keep checking the order status and tracking numbers with fedex but it seems like nothing has changed in the past few 24 hours.

Does anyone know if fedex is open on saturdays? It seems as if they don't deliver on the weekend or something. This would be nice to know so that I can determine if my mbp is going to take longer than indicated. thanks

When I ordered my Mini on Friday, it didn't ship until the following monday.

FedEx does not usually deliver on Saturdays unless it was shipped via one of their 'Home Delivery' services. Usually if you order towards the end of the weekend, the shipping company doesn't move the package until early Monday, unfortunately.
