Delivery reports for iPhone??

does anybody by any chance happen to know if there is an option on iPhone to enable delivery reports on SMS Text Messaging?

Hello there

My job now requires me to travel to Kenya and South Africa and i spend 10 days out of the office in Africa. I have local SIMs there and when there I send approximately 40 text messages a day at least as I am in constant contact with the London office. Is there a 3rd party app which i can use to get delivery reports?

If you are crossing networks (Sending from ATT to Verizon for example) you will not get any delivery report.

I use to have verizon and I would get a delivery confirmation if I only sent it to another verizon user. But if I sent a message to a tmobile user, I would not receive any confirmation. From my understanding its entirely network based and does not have much to do with your phone and I dont know if ATT supports that feature.
