Delivery times for iMac

Just wondered what the average delivery time is between ordering a new iMac and it being at your home. I'm in the UK and heard it has to be shipped from abroad. Is that right?

Mine went from china to alaska to texas overnight. Oh the miracles of the International Date Line.

Yeah. Apple is usually pretty quick.

Interestingly though, I once ordered two refurb iPod touches. One shipped from Pennsylvania, one shipped from China. Both to New York. I got them the same day. They both took 3 days I believe.

So I'd say 3 days tops.

Delivery times

Yeah. I kinda got confused with their terminology of 'dispatch', 'shipping','in transit' as well as 'delivery'. That's why I posted my question. I must admit, they are quite good keeping me up to date with e-mails.
