Dell 34W15 only 50 hz on MacBook Pro 14.

Hello all,

I have connected my MacBook Pro 14 inch into a Dell 34W15 and I know this monitor supports 60 hz but my Mac only has 2 options. 30 and 50 and not 60.

I connected via HDMI port on both MacBook and monitor.

Could this be it? How do I get to work at 60 hz?

Have you tried "SwitchResX" ?

Also, try connecting via the displayport instead.
It could be a limitation of the HDMI cable (or connection).

I have not tried.

I will try a different cable, maybe it’s a cable and if it does not work I will try DisplayPort

i would try a displayport usb c cable, the hdmi cables used by manuf are often shotty and not passing enough bandwidth.
