Just read on Engadget about the new Dell 10" Mini Netbook that's convertible into a tablet. Now, I know it's not the most elegant thing, but I was wondering if Apple might go a similar route on the new MacBook Air. Get the touchscreen surface going and make it the first Touch Screen OSX Machine, the way the Air was the first Unibody and the first SSD machine.
Use the Air to be a bridge device into a touchscreen OS. Apple does have that patent about the touchscreen OS activating with a tilt of the screen for the iMac... so this is not far off.
Not necessarily something I think *will* happen, but more along the lines of "It'd be neat if it did happen."
