I am going to be hooking up a Dell U2412M with a 5K iMac. Can someone please recommend the correct adapter to use to be able to utilize this second monitor with the iMac?

I'm thinking this one will work. Can someone please confirm? Right now I have my Dell monitor utilizing the DVI port but I believe it does have a Display Port so I could use that port and connect to Thunderbolt (I think). If this cable will work, I assume this price point is good... Thanks!

Any Mini-DP to DP cable should be fine. The cable that I use is made by CE-LINK, which connects my u2412m with a 2011 Mac mini with no problem under OS X.
Ok so I'm about to pull the trigger on this. Just to be certain, the Dell has a display port and the iMac has a thunderbolt port, which is also called a mini display port?

Yep, the thunderbolt port on your Mac functions as a mini-DP port when connecting to a DP display, so any mini DP to DP adapter cable should be fine.
