Hi, have been finding it hard to get a definitive answer on this, including from Dell - I wonder if anyone here can help.

I have a Late 2013 Mac Pro, AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB Graphics card. I am wondering if any of Dell's ultra wide screens will work properly with it. I have heard different things about the maximum resolutions available on DisplayPort 1.x and HDMI connections, TBH I am confused lol

Any help greatly appreciated

Hello,
I have Dell U3415W (3440x1440) and it is working well.

With HDMI-HDMI cable works only at 30Hz, with higher frequency sometimes is not stable. While with mDP-HDMI adapter it works fine also at 60Hz.

bye

Have there been any updates to this?
Or should I just shelve this tube and buy a mini?
