Dell UP3214Q with 2013 MacPro

I have done some research on using the Dell UP3214Q monitor with the 2013 Mac Pro
but would like to get some up-to-date thoughts on the combination.

I have two Dell U2711 monitors that required a lot of video profile "adjusting" to work with Yosemite.
Is the UP3214Q "supported" in El Captain without having to adjust the profiles?
Also, after enabling DP1.2 is it really 4K @ 60hz? This is a SST display - right?

Any additional thoughts would be a big help - thanks.
