[Dell] When do they post tracking numbers?

Last Friday, I ordered a 2007FPW and it shipped out the same day. They've yet to post the tracking number on their website, it just says:

Status: In Transit to Local Carrier
Your tracking number will be provided when your shipment arrives at the carrier's regional center. This can take 48-72 hours. Please check back to obtain your tracking number through this tool.

Sorry, but I find it hard to believe that, ignoring the weekend, it's taken more than 24 hours to get from the Dell warehouse to the local UPS facility which is probably in the same damn city. So, does anyone know when I can expect to see my tracking number? Thanks
 
my only guess is it hasnt really left there ware house yet and it mostly your orders been processes. Or they could just be the box are waiting for there UPS pick up. I wouldnt be suprisedif it is 18 wheelers that comes and get the stuff so that take a little while longer to load up, move to the regian center, unloaded get the tracking number back to dell.

From there it be a little time before dell with get your tracking number on to there site. They get the tracking number at night and it be the next day before they get it posted.
 
If I remember correctly I didn't get a tracking number for a monitor when I bought my 1907fp. :( They use DHL, not UPS.

Their site said it shipped UPS ground.

I e-mailed them a few minutes ago, so I wait for their reply....which is probably more of a canned response. I tried calling, but eventually gave up trying to find an option for a live person. I wonder if their automated voice recognition understands swearing, if not, I taught it something new :D
