My cat was running around and pushed my macbook pro against the wall and dented the corner. Making the corner of the top of the base separate slightly from the bottom of the base at that corner running along the bottom left side. Is this covered by Applecare?

No i dont believe apple will cover your cat damaging your machine.
How big is this cat though? Big enough to throw a laptop into a wall and dent it? Sounds fishy.

Accidental damage isn't covered by AppleCare.

My cat just stained my silk drapes..........maybe we should get goldfish?

It is a small hyper cat that likes to chase crickets, shiny objects, or whatever it wants throughout the house. Oh well I guess I'll put it in a safe box from now on.

Be careful! I know this is a technology forum and the like, but there might be some animal activists out there reading your post that would be very upset about your last statement!

Yeah well...i come home today...to find that my cat puked on my surge protector which was about 8 inches from my open macbook pro. I would NOT have been a happy camper to find cat puke all over my keyboard, still not to happy that I have to clean it off of the surge protector...guess the cats are getting back at us for spending too much time with our laptops and not with them..

Is that thing de-clawed? I was cringing watching that video. You might as well have been scratching a chalkboard with your fingernails!

No way I'd let my cat anywhere NEAR *my* MBP!!

Does this person have money to burn?
