I recently purchased a replacement battery from iFixIt for my Early 2011 MBP. It's the machine's third battery - the first having been replaced by Apple under warranty. One dramatic difference I've noticed between Apple's batteries and the iFixIt battery is the rate at which the battery depletes itself. If I unplug my laptop with a fully charged iFixIt replacement battery, I probably only get an hour's worth of active use until the power is critically low. With my old Apple batteries I easily got a couple hours.

I've looked at Coconut battery. It shows a design capacity of 6800 mAh and a maximum charge of 6828 mAh, and the battery status is "Good".

I know my machine is old, and maybe I've got too much stuff running on it, but has anyone else experienced iFixIt batteries not demonstrating the same level of running time that you see from genuine Apple batteries?
