Deploying OS X updates to client computers

I'm sorry if this is a total noob question but as today's 10.7.2 update is the first update to have been released since owning Lion Server, does anyone have any advice as to how to deploy OS updates to client Macs running Lion?

The excellent tutorials on WeGotServed about Lion Server have been tremendously helpful, but this specific issue hasn't been addressed yet and a Google or forum search didn't result in any help either.

I noticed that in the configuration profiles inside of Profile Manager, we can specify a software update link. Is this the correct location to go about doing this? Again, sorry if this is completely obvious and I'm missing it.

enable the software update service in osx server and point the osx clients to the server for there updates.
I have tiger, leopard and lion clients all collecting updates from my snow leopard server.
There is a command that has to be run the each workstation to point to the update server instead of the apple server. The command is only required if the clients are not managed, if they are managed configure the update server in the workgroup manager.

Several options to do this :

- Manually with Apple Remote Desktop
- Centralized on a Mac OS X Server with the Update Service
- Centralized on a Linux server with Reposado

The last two are similar to WSUS on Windows. Reposado has the added advantage you can setup several update trees (e.g. Stable and Testing)
