Design a speaker...

I am working on a school project and I need to build working speakers, then complete full legal and detailed drawings of its inner workings and so forth. Thats the easy part. The hard part is finding a design that targets 3-7 year oldss. (No spongebob or gumby) they are prohibited because they are just boxes with speakers in them. If anyone has a cool idea please tell me. Thanks I have cool designs but they are more for older people who are into modern art and design. Little kid characters are not my forte.

P.S, wasnt sure which forum to post this in or if it should be here at all, but as a mac fan and artist, design is a big part of my life. I've seen your guys work and would like your help.

I think a padded speaker would kill the sound quality.
