You've piqued my interests. In what regard? Your statement is severely "broad". Design of what proposed using what and on what and where?
Personally mine would be: Hardware on Hand that works vs Hardware I would like to get vs Software: what I'd like to get vs what is needed for the new hardware vs what Software I have that works or could be made to work vs how it will restrict Hardware acquisition vs Workload vs Time Down for conversion vs Cash Flow or the impact/Lack of Cash Flow that'll govern what moves can be made. And in answering some of the above questions, more will most likely arise.
