I haven’t seen any mention of this so I’m wondering if some people didn’t notice, but the new iMac’s front is entirely glass. The chin is glass, not aluminum. Look at the reflection that encompasses the entire front:

what do you guys think of this design change?

I'm wondering how the front and rear "seal together".

They may have "gone back" to the earlier design in which the front panel was held on with magnets.

If there is no access "from the back" ... or sides... perhaps the entire front (glass) panel can be removed with suction cups now? Or if not, with double-sided tape...

Like the chin itself, the color choices, the white bezel, the presence or lack of a logo, and the location of the fingerprint reader, I don't really care about it. I'd like a machine that works for my needs for as long as possible.

That being said, this change is pretty cool.

Good point @imdog
The complete full front glass is very nice - better than a partial aluminum chin and glass display.

Compared to all older iMacs I have used in the past with partial glass and aluminum front (2010, 2012, 2014, 2019).

Very slick !
