Just so it's clear, I'm going to buy one of those new MBAs.

This being said, I don't like the new design. I think there was nothing wrong with the old one... The new one LOOKS thicker, even though it's actually thinner... It's much sturdier and PC-like than the previous one...

I'm honestly disappointed because when I saw the cultofmac mock ups, I thought they were atrocious, and went like "obivously that's not what the airs are actually going to look like: Apple never disappoints in terms of design"....

Yeaaaaaah, well think again lol.

So you're going to support the design by buying a machine that you don't like the look of. OK. I was confused there for a sec...

There ain't nothing wrong with the new design. It is ***** hot. Super clean and minimalist, love it!

They have made one heck of a portable mac in such a slick package, this will set the standard in the portable computing industry. I predict that for the target market it will sell like hot cakes

MBP 15 & 17's are going to follow the same/similar design + engineering principles. Can't wait b/c  will have the thinnest & lightest 17's sooner or later, and the competition are going to have to scramble to catch up
