So we have about 8-9 iMac machines in the studio, and we are looking into upgrading the machines, possibly with a business plan with apple. We have one new iMac Pro machine, that is way faster than all the other iMacs, which range from 2015 - 2017 Models all basically base models with about 24gb of Ram each.

My question is, what is the best configuration for a new range of machines, we want to drastically improve the speed of the machines, we are mainly using adobe software, with complex and large files in Adobe Illustrator (rendering/3d extruding/ effects) these are not simple files. We also use After Effects and some use 3D Max software.

Are we best to invest in iMac Pro machines, as so far this has been the fastest machine in the studio.

I heard that some Adobe products are not optimised to make use of the 8+Cores that iMac Pros have is this still the case?

Also this might be important to note, all our work is done on a mac mini server.

Thanks in advance!
