I've just clicked the link on the front page to the Crome Book, which led to a Samsung thingy. And it struck me how similar the design is to the Mac Mini - flat, square, round corners, even down to the circular flap underneath.

With all those reports of lawsuits it appears Apple's got a valid point : again and again, Samsung shows that they blatantly rip off Apple's design.

Funny how such a large corporation is completely unable to innovate on its own, and instead works as a 3D photocopier.

That leaves Samsung off my shopping list indefinitely, I'd rather get the originals.

The Chrome book made by Samsung (Series 5) is a laptop... what does that have to do with a Mac Mini ?

You people really like to see copying where there quite isn't...

That is what I thought too, then I reread the OP again and did the same as the OP and found this:

It's a Series 3 Chromebox. I guess the OP should have included a link, an image or a descriptive thread title, but zero out of three is better than me having no manners.

Anyway, that does not really look like a Mac mini (Mm), it may share the form factor, but there is only so much you can do with that. It even has a Celeron (didn't know they still existed, thought they died out after the Pentium 5/V).

I have an ad blocker (guess it's an ad, not seeing anything about it on the front page ?) and the OP said Chrome book. Never could have guessed about the Chrome Box, first I've heard of it.

Besides being a square, what is it copying off the Mac Mini anyhow ?

Anyway, definately gonna check this out, looks like it has hacking potential for a HTPC sort of setup.

I was thinking that. I'm guessing the built in wifi is provided via mini PCI-e, could be swapped for a Broadcom Crystal HD if Windows can be shoehorned on there.
