Deskspace for an iMac

Do you think that 15 1/4 inches is enough deskspace for a new iMac and a keyboard? I know it will fit, but do you think the keyboard would be too close to iMac?

my keyboard is typically about six inches in front of my iMac. I like to type with my arms a little bit extended.

How much deskspace just the imac take up? Can you measure your total space from the front of the keyboard to the back of the iMac? Thanks...

There is about a 4" space between the top of my keyboard and the front lip of the aluminum stand for the 27" iMac and mine takes up around 17" of desk space. 15 1/4 inches should work but you're going to be sitting pretty close to the screen.

Get the wireless option, put your feet on the desk, sit back with the keyboard on your lap. Problem solved.
