desktop automatically switching to dashboard

I've noticed this happening with more frequency the last couple days, when I'm idle on my desktop, my MBP is automatically switching over to dashboard for a sec, then switching back to my main desktop...tried restarting, it seemed to fix it for a bit, but it's now back to doing it.

Any suggestions?

Is it possible that you have a Hot Corner set for Dashboard? That could cause it to "randomly" go when the cursor is placed in that corner.

I haven't set up a hot corner, it doesn't seem to matter where the mouse is on the screen. it just flips around randomly....ugh.
