I had some issues with my mac and I took it into Apple. The Apple support guy created a new admin user profile and moved all of my files over to that profile. Ever since, every time I boot up my computer, the background reverts to the default Mojave image. How can I stop this from happening every time my computer restarts? I did not have this issue before taking my mac to Apple support, so I'm assuming it has something to do with the new user profile.

The image I want to use is stored in my desktop folder if that makes any difference.

(I am sadly pretty computer illiterate for a 28-year-old, so please be gentle with me)

Thank you in advance.

I had the same problem. No matter where I put the picture to use it would revert to default on reboot. I did a clean install of the OS for another issue and it fixed that problem also.
