Hi

Just thought I would point people in the direction of this Dungeon Hack game I stumbled into.

It is only available as a free download for people to get a taste but you can pre order the
full game.

This game is awesome. I've put hours into it and it's inspired me to the point that I'm building my own inspired dungeon type game.

I had no idea they had a new site and uber version, thanks for the refresh. :)

The retail visuals looks fantastic, but to be honest, I prefer the pixel version. But the updated art still has its charm.

Thanks for this post. I have a pretty big interest in Dungeon Crawlers, and the gamemaker thing seems interesting as well.

They also look to do an iOS version of the game, as well. I'll look into it.

Hello

Yes, I saw that, is it worth getting ?

Definitely. The interface is a bit awkward but the developer is very aggressive and already has a big update planned for this week that will fix most of that.

Even so it's extremely addictive and well worth the $5 price tag.

Got to try out Desktop Dungeons. Pretty neat game. I'm playing the free version. The way it specifically handles things is almost hard to tell whether I should call it a Rogue-style Dungeon Hack, or a Rogue-like Dungeon Puzzler. It kind of threads the needle between them both a bit. It's not a traditional hacker, and is almost a puzzle in itself, to a degree. I like how it can be played simply on your pace since monsters don't approach or attack you. So your commitment to pushing time forward is only by either making an attack, using something, or revealing undiscovered steps.
