Hello! Do you know if Apple and Microsoft are going to update Word/Excel apps on the new iPadOS to support all the advanced features from the Pc/Mac versions? (like macros, reference tables,...) Thank you!
It is my understanding that Apple won't allow macro functionality in Microsoft apps for security reasons. Thanks for answering! Regarding the Microsoft forums, indeed I tried, and also via chat, but the only thing i got by answer is that Microsoft has 'limited access' to iOS, so they cannot improve their mobile apps at the desired rate. Likewise, the ball is on Apple's roof, as I understood. I hope some dev comes across with this post and port the full version of word/excel to iPadOS, so I definitely can marry my Ipad lolol. Kind regards from Spain.

"Limited access to iOS" is more of a convenient excuse than the root reason why the iOS version of MS Office is limited. Android doesn't suffer from the heavy-handedness that Apple employs with iOS and THAT version is just as limited. Thanks for answering!
