Hi
I'm new to this forum and back to iPad after a 5-year lapse.
I have some trouble with most if not all the mail clients available for iOS (this goes for Android, too).
I'm connecting to my work e-mail through IMAP. I have a long mail history (which I need to keep archived) with many folders and subfolders. Any new mail is filtered at the server's level (Zimbra) and sent to the appropriate folder (for ex. for message lists).
On any computer I'm working on, I'm using either Thunderbird or any other client, which usually offer a view like this :
The folders are conveniently visible on the right, then the message headers on the left above the message content. I need this kind of view and to be able to fold/unfold the folder view, as it allows to clearly see the new messages after they have been filtered.
Most if not all email clients on iPad, OTOH, seem to limit themselves to a dual view with message headers on the left and message content on the right. Is there any exception?
Thanks for any help!
Thomas
