Desktop Problem

i would like to change the space between icons on the desktop
cause dont know why, but they are very separate

well you have not got snap to grid ticked so i would drag em to what ever you like?

Like he said, if you have snap to grid checked, it will do it for you, if not, you can drag them basically wherever

But he had got Sort Alphabetically on, which means he can't! If you uncheck that as well, then you'll be able to place them where ever you like!
