When I click on desktop/screensaver , it says ''loading images'' and rainbow wheel keeps turning and nothing happens . I can't even shut down, I have to power off. How do I fix this??

Not sure your problem but you don't have to reboot. Just Force Quit (Alt/Command/Esc).

Thanks, that quit the program , but I still don't know how to fix the problem. May have to call apple support.
