Desktop sideways

I don't know if this is the right place to post it. If it isn't, sorry.

I just made a hackintosh tower. Would it be possible if it was put sideways instead of standing up? I probably think that the CD Drive would probably stop working properly or something.

Any other issues? Provided that the vents don't get blocked? Will the HDD still spin correctly?

It'll be completely fine. The CD drive won't jam or anything.

Probably not a good idea. It's additional strain on the hard drives in since they have to fight gravity to spin.

This is generally why most well designed machines have the hard drives oriented the way they do. I can only think of a few exceptions (like the MDD Macs.)
