Wow i just read a news about a smartphone device made by Canonical(UK). It is able to dual-boot Ubuntu mobileOS and/or Android. As soon as you plug it on to a external display+mouse+keyboard it's running the 100% Ubuntu desktop operating system.

Seems pretty cool. Sadly it is a crowsfunding project :(
Here is the link: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ubuntu-edge

Dual boots android & Ubuntu?

128MB internal storage?

4GB RAM?

.... and at a cheaper price point than both the iPhone and galaxy lineup.

SOLD, who do I give my credit card to?

The problem is they are proposed specs - not final. It's a lot of money to pledge up-front on an unproven device / manufacturer / hardware etc.....

A lot can change between here an May 2014. How sure are they that they can even make 2014 ? Just too many variables....

Yeah huge problem is that, they probably won't make it to their set goal of 32.000.000$. They currently got 10.000.000pledged and their indiegogo campaign ends in 8days.

@MacRumorsUser: sorry, didn't use the search to be honest...
