Hi,
I figured someone who is into audio equip for a Mac might know this:
Have inherited a pair of Logitech Z200 desktop speakers.
Don't want to blow anything in the Mac, so would like to
ask here first.
It's a bit unusual, in that it actually has two inputs.
One is the typical cable with a M 3.5 mm plug on the end.
The other is on the front and is a female jack.
Lots of Posts on various sites, and on Amazon, that these
are definitely inputs; both of them. Logitech documentation doesn't address the following.
And, several Posts say that if both inputs are simultaneously "active", it "mixes" them, and all is fine.
Huh ?
How can it mix them ?
If one input is active (either), I guess the other would be fine, but Both together ?
Hate to blow some audio outpout stage in the iMac.
Any thoughts on ?
Bob
