Is there any way to get dashboard on my Mac Studio that's running Ventura 13.4?

The dashboard on my old mac was the most useful app for me. Losing it by upgrading to the mac studio was devastating. My workflow has been severely affected. If I had known I would have sought a different option.

Please, I beg you, help me. I would pay hundreds to have it back.

I'm sorry. Dashboard is gone. Whatever widgets you used, you will likely find similar functionality on the web, or with small apps from the App Store. Coming in the next macOS Sonoma this fall, you'll be able to keep web apps on the Dock for quick access. See...Web apps come to your dock.

The functionality is not the issue, its having many widgets ready to toggle on and off with a single button.

I'm interested to hear how you used Dashboard and what made it so important to your workflow, if you'd be willing to share.
I could have many calculators, unit converters, notes, etc in the same screen, could toggle it on and off with a single button, whatever I was working on could still be seen behind the widgets if i put them all around the perimeter. I could do strings of calculations with the previous answers still visible, whenever I needed to do unit conversions all the necessary unit converters are right there on the screen. I really had no idea how valuable it was til I lost it.

For the life of me I can't understand why they would remove it, such a simple program it would cost them practically nothing to integrate into the new architecture. And now the widgets on ventura are lame, don't even have a calculator or unit converter and can't be toggled with a key. My f6 key does nothing now. Every time I need to do a calculation or start a new project I find myself instinctively hitting that key a month later.

Is it possible to set up a second desktop with e.g. the Calculator and Notes apps running on it, and then configure F6 to toggle between that desktop and your usual one?

I don't use virtual desktops myself but, at least on the face of it, it might be a possibility.

Edit: Although then you can't see the document you're working on, unless there's a way to flag apps as visible on all desktops.

Thanks for the input. I already tried that, can only have one calc app open at the same time, so I tried just opening a bunch of web calculators and unit converters in separate windows on the second desktop, then use the hot corner to access that desktop. The windows can only be downsized so much and it's really cluttered, not nearly as functional.

It is in no way a replacement for your previous setup but in case you are not aware, for a quick convert of units or calculation (including braces) you can directly type in the Spotlight pop-up.
The previous input/formula even survives hiding and re-activating Spotlight.

Weren't most (all?) dashboard widgets just html/css/js, with maybe some exposed JS native apis (http://www.whidbey.com/magicmug/tricks/Dashboard_Ref.pdf). It seems like it should be feasible to create an app that's able to render dashboard widgets.
That is well outside of my ability. I'm hoping someone has already figured out how to restore dashboard to the newer mac operating systems, or replicate it somehow.

Dashboard is long gone. If you want to use a newer Mac, you’ll simply need to develop an alternative workflow.

chrfr is right.
I, too, miss the old Dashboard and some of the widgets that are now gone.

(but since I have a 2018 Mini "locked down" to Mojave, I can still use what's left of Dashboard -- for now...)
