Developer Mountain Lion Question

i downloaded my mountain lion through the developers website and i updated it with with the developers download to 10.8.1


now its asking me to update through the appstore.


was there a new update again? but wouldnt it be like 10.8.2?

is this necessary?

im pretty sure there is a 10.8.2 for devs

nah but the app store is telling me to update to 10.8.1, when im already on 10.8.1.


it just bothers me to have that "1" sign in my dock on top of my appstore icon.


edit: does the developer version of mountain lion SYNC with the appstore?

im not sure, but i went to the dev site, it seems like they might actually make some changes for the public release, thus having the appstore bugging me to update again.

because on the dev download it says "for testing"
