Hi, i'm lookin to get my hands on a Powerbook, and i was wondering wat Apple is offering as "Developer Tools" in it's software package taht comes with the powerbooks.

The developer tools are basically a text editor, an interface building application, and libraries in order for you to program applications for OS X. Even if you don't get a powerbook, you can download them at http://developer.apple.com .If nothing I said made a bit of sense, you can check out the faq, http://developer.apple.com/tools/xcode/faq.html
The dev tools are much more extensive than that. Project Builder (now XCode) is a full IDE, rather than just a Text Editor. It also comes with sampling programs, memory leak finders, various low level hardware understanding tools, example apps, example code, documentation, package builder, filemerge, OpenGL shader builder, a tool to help optimize redraws, and several other tools.
