Hi guys,
Ran into a few problems today on my iPhone 4 running 7.0.4 Jailbroken. When I opened Cydia a few times today sometimes my device would just stall on the splash screen (white screen) of Cydia and wouldn't respond to anything. I hit the home button and nothing happens and my lock button is broken so i am unable to hold the lock and home button for 10 seconds to reboot. I wait for the screen to shutoff after a minute and then once it locks i am unable to access my phone. The home button will not turn on the screen and i have no other option since my lock button is not functional. I plug it into my charger hoping it would turn on the screen and it doesn't. The charging sounds play though when i plug in the charger. The way i have fixed this is to plug it into my computer, open TinyUmbrella and kick the device into recovery mode and then back out of recovery mode. This is the only solution I have come up with, however I am still unsure on why my device does this when I open Cydia. This would not be a good situation if i was away from my computer and would like to fix this ASAP. Help me out please!
