got this error when trying to update my 4 to io5.

EVERYTHING is up to date.. just needed to install ios 5.. itunes up to date.. macbook software up to date..

I run into this problem every time I try to update. Try updating on a different computer, that is what works for me. By chance are you jailbroken?

ugh but i dont have a diff one.. U sure that'd work?

yeah this happened on my friends computer, she'd never jailbroken.
Download tiny umbrella and uncheck 'set cydia hosts on exit'

or go to /private/etc and edit the hosts file. Either add a # before the apple IP/address or edit it out. should work then.

well some how got it fixed.. but i dont like the way it runs.. slow.. got a 4 and 4s not sure what one to keep
