Devise security in IOS 16

Good evening, I am looking at trying to increase my security on my iPad and Mabel iPhone. My MacBook has a lot, but my iPhone and iPad just have native. I resently bought a new IPad and was trying to download an app from the App Store, and when I put in my Apple password it would not accept. After a few try’s I went to try my phone, same, tried my MBP, same result. Set new password and resigned in on all my devices. iPad is only new variable. So I want to see what I can do to increase my security with most likely browser extensions and scan wear. Looking for recommendations. I know macOS but am new to newer iPad IOS’s, hade mini 2 so don’t consider myself up on IPadOS’s.
