I know that in earlier episodes he was using an E-volt 330 with a TF-22, but last time I saw Dexter carrying a camera, IIRC it was a Nikon.

I was wondering if that flash ring used some fiber optics that send the light to the ring? Cause the flash is covered.

That's a new, cheaper concept using fiberoptics made by some company in the UK http://www.flaghead.co.uk/pages/ringflash-intro.html

AFAIK, it's not available in the US yet.

Sorta, except it was a wire/cable coming off the flash to the ring.

Im pretty sure that this is what he uses...I love that show!...To correct the camera confusion, Dexter uses the Olympus for his forensics job. BUT when he spies on his victims he uses a Nikon. I can't tell the model, but it's a super nice camera with a great lens! haha
