Diablo 3, like all Blizzard games, will be easy to play but difficult to master and therefore will be far too complex for the iPad with its limited control options.
And before anyone says "but you just have to click 2 buttons" - if you want to get to lvl 99 in hardcore mode in Diablo 2 you have to do a little bit more, switching skills, drinking potions, giving potions to mercenaries etc etc.
It would be a shame if Blizzard would dumb down such a great game for the iPad.
Dungeon Hunter 2 HD on iPad will fill your niche EASILY! it's amazing.
Have not tried it yet, looks pretty good, even though its no diablo![]()
Personally I'd like them to bring Starcraft to the iPad first
I remember having a couple dozen hotkeys set up for Diablo 2. I don't see how this would work on an iPad, or why Bliz would even want to try.
I don't think the iPad is really suited to RTS and hack n' slash fantasy games.
How about a console version of Diablo III that takes advantage of Kinect or Wii Remote? You literaly hack n' slash at your enemies, mime shooting an arrow, or make drinking motions for the potions?![]()
