Diablo 3 Q's

Hi guys, I played EverQuest from about 1999 to 2006, and got bored of it after 7 years of playing. I am now craving some more MMORPG gameplay, but about last year I tried World of Warcraft and quite frankly I didn't enjoy it. I now have heard about Diablo 3 coming out and it looks good from what I have seen. I have a couple of questions:

-When is the estimated date it will come out? Next year?

-Will it run on my MacBook Pro, previous generation with 2 GBs of RAM?

-Will it differ from World of Warcraft at all or will it just be WoW in a diablo setting?

Most likely sometime next year. Unfortunately that could mean January or December.

No way to tell until we're much closer to the launch date.

Diablo and Warcraft are very different. It's highly doubtful that D3 will be a MMORPG.

In the meantime, get yourself D2+expansion. It will keep you busy gamewise until D3 drops.

It won't be next year. Look at how long SC2 has been in development. The development website is probably over a year old. And the game still hasn't gone into beta testing yet. :/ I can't imagine seeing it til Q3 09.

Don't think anyone can reliably comment on the system requirements/performance of a game that doesn't exist yet.

1. unlikely. probably sometime in 2010
2. unknown, but blizzard is pretty good at their games running on lower hardware with the settings turned down.
3. its nothing like WoW, it will be much the same as the pervious Diablo games.
