I know this has been discussed somewhere, if here in MRs, please point me at it. Otherwise, what's the opinion from those who have played both? I played the Torchlight2 demo recently and it was ok, but nothing I'd call spectacular. Click a spot on the ground to run to it. Run up to mobs to automatically whack them or right-click to send projectiles at them, over and over. The underground passages all seemed very similar. In contrast, is D3 spectacular despite having to be online to play it?
One of the problems I have is the locked isometric camera which I've disliked in dungeon crawlers from the first. I prefer the close-in 3rd person view being able to change the camera angle to look out in front of me. I suspect this is the same issue for both D3 and T2.
Thanks!
