Diagnol Lines running through iMac screen

Whenever I'm not in OS X, i.e. I'm booted into Ubuntu or Windows (I'm in the W7 RC right now, which by the way is pretty nice), the screen in my iMac always displays transparent-like lines running through the screen diagonally. It can be quite annoying.

Is this normal for an Aluminum iMac? It's a 20-incher..
