Hi everyone. I've been using Macs at home since I purchased my first Power Mac tower in the late 90's. Up until about 5 or 6 years ago, I was super fastidious about buying various diagnostic software and keeping them up to date. I had TechTool Pro, Drive Genius, Diskwarrior and others whose names I have forgotten. In the last few years I lost interest in keeping these programs updated, because I never really used them. I still have my older licences, but I'm safely assuming they won't work with current OS', hardware etc.

I was just curious to hear from others and whether they keep such tools on hand, keep them updated etc.

Many thanks.
