Dictation incredibly slow

Anybody else finding a massive lag with dictation. I’m using an iPhone 16 pro Max with iOS 18 and it’s five times slower than my iPhone 15 Pro Max

sometimes i get a big lag to the point i don't think it's working, then all of the text appears at once.
I have to restart the phone and it's back to normal after. I've had this since ios 16.

It was extremely beyond laggy for a few days in a row. Yesterday it seemed to go back to 'regular' speed? It's been hit or miss for me lately in terms of speed, not exactly sure why. Using an iPhone 16 Pro.
