2/2 - Myself and a colleague updated about 18 hours ago.
Neither of us can use screen capture.

Have tried:
restarting - no effect
checked keyboard shortcuts, all appeared fine but unselected then used restore defaults.

Got interesting when i looked for the plists in library for capture and grab to try and remove and reset.... missing.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Please and thanks

Hey - Think I've narrowed this down to cylance antivirus, removing resolves the issues, reinstalling replicates.
Might have to wait for more instances for cylance to patch, will see if there's anything else I can tweak settings or exceptions wise that might prevent the bugs.

You don't need anti-virus protection for your Mac anyway. But if you insist on using something, I recommend:

Detect X Swift (for finding and removing malware)

Here's a virus scanner that does not run resident and will not interfere with your other programs:

11.6 broke several things. There are no longer any apps listed in the privacy tab under under Security & Privacy pane in System Preferences for 'Screen Recording', 'Full Disk Access' and 'Input Monitoring'.

Attempting to authenticate and manually add my apps back in there results in nothing being saved.

Glad you found the solution. Working OK for me after 11.6.
