iPhone 14 Pro Max Did 16.03 fix the camera for depositing checks?

Does anyone know if 16.03 fixed the camera when you tried to deposit a check on the banking apps. I recall this was an issue from the sound and also just focusing that was reported around here.

No as the minimum focal length is longer on the 14 series phones and Apple hasn't made changes for this, so apps that use the camera to scan things still don't focus well up close.

wow thanks thats really bad. was gonna try on mine but didnt want the rattling sound. did that get fixed for the banking apps at least?

There's no rattling or buzzing sound anymore but 3rd party apps just can't focus as close on the 14 series due to the changed cameras, the first party camera app will switch to the ultra wide up close so doesn't have the focus issue, but 3rd party apps don't do that.

This is a thing? Yikes! I had no intention of upgrading, so I didn’t follow any of the forum topics. Then I was kind of positioned to upgrade today. Now I hear about this? Mannnn…..

Is this just for the Max, or is it both?

My Wells Fargo app allows my 14PM to deposit checks just fine. I do it daily, sometimes multiple times.
