If you recall all the hoopla about battery life last year

https://www.macrumors.com/2010/11/17/adobe-testing-macbook-air-optimized-version-of-flash-player/

http://www.pcworld.com/article/209856/dump_flash_get_2_extra_hours_of_macbook_air_battery_life.html

As any owner of the Air knows Flash is a ravenous destroyer of the battery life. I have been in a situation where I am close to wifi but far from a plug for the past few nights, and this is killing me.

I was wondering if anyone was able to get the beta of the Air Flash, and if so could point me in the right direction. Google just references the articles of yesteryear.

TIA

If you're watching Youtube videos a lot, you could join their HTML 5 program.

About 3 weeks ago I installed Flash Block in Chrome (which has built-in flash capabilities to begin with instead of downloading the plugin) and joined the HTML5 program on Youtube. Since then, I have definitely seen a performance bump and better battery life on my current machine (Lenovo 410).

Both are highly recommended (blocker + html5 program).

I was hoping that there was a way to make flash run more efficiently. I am stuck sitting in one place watching hulu without a plug anywhere close by.
